Job summary

Axelera AI is seeking an entrepreneurial engineering leader to establish and run the AI Infrastructure Systems division. You will build the team, shape the roadmap, and own end-to-end delivery of board- and system-level products for PCIe/CXL accelerator cards and rack-scale systems.

You will review schematics, manage budgets, and partner with multiple R&D and GTM teams to deliver enterprise AI and HPC solutions, including high-power thermal/ mechanical design and secure firmware stacks.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in hardware engineering for complex electronics.
• Proven track record shipping datacenter/server-class compute hardware.
• Deep expertise in high-speed interfaces and power delivery.
• Experience with BMC-based management and firmware stacks.

Responsibilities

• Build the Infrastructure Systems engineering team from the ground up.
• Define the technical roadmap for board- and system-level server products.
• Serve as the technical authority across system implementation.
• Own end-to-end execution from concept through design reviews and mass-production readiness.
• Drive datacenter-grade platform engineering and platform firmware resilience.
• Lead the thermal and mechanical strategy for high-power platforms.
• Partner with AIS to align board and system-level execution across product lines.
• Collaborate with Platform Architecture, product management, silicon, SDK and software teams to refine requirements.
• Engage directly with strategic customers and ecosystem partners to shape requirements.
• Define and enforce engineering processes and quality gates for the new division.
