Job summary

A specialist HDD company just outside Amsterdam is seeking a Workshop Technician to maintain and prepare drilling equipment for upcoming projects. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in a workshop environment. Responsibilities include inspecting returned tools, performing maintenance and repairs, and maintaining an organized inventory. This is a full-time role which requires a positive attitude and good organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on mechanical experience in a workshop or maintenance environment.
• Good working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
• Comfortable using hand tools and other relevant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log tools returned from HDD project sites.
• Inspect mechanical and hydraulic components for faults.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on drilling tools and other equipment.
• Prepare tooling for future projects and ensure readiness.
• Maintain workshop inventory and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment.
