Job summary

Optiply is hiring forward deployed engineers to work with our Netherlands-based customers, translating purchasing rules into automated workflows using SQL, Python and low-code tools. You’ll sit with procurement teams and design logic that scales across multiple store setups and lead times.

You’ll travel to customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, build live solutions from problem to deployment, collaborate with our supply chain team, and continuously improve AI-driven automation for procurement

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a supply chain, purchasing, inventory or technical consulting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field; Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate non-standard purchasing rules into automated workflows using SQL, Python and other tools.
• Dig into customer data to answer questions affecting cash flow, OTIF, container planning, service levels and deadstock.
• Find out why data in Optiply doesn’t match a customer’s ERP, WMS or webshop; work with the integration team on fixes.
• Track health KPIs per customer: service level, on-time/in-full, adoption of advice and deadstock.
• Build and improve AI agents and automations behind our CS process.
• Visit customers across the Netherlands and Belgium to kick off complex setups.
• Turn a customer problem into a live solution and follow up until it works.
• Join business case meetings and complex onboardings as the supply chain expert in the room.
