Job summary

VF Corporation in Almelo seeks a hands-on First Line Manager to lead a department of 10–15 staff. You will coach, coordinate activities, and optimize processes to meet ISO and OHSAS standards while driving safety and compliance.

Expect a dynamic, two-shift environment with a focus on continuous improvement and people development. You will report to the operations leadership and contribute to cost and service targets, with emphasis on sustainable employability and team performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum HBO or equivalent standing and thinking level.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of PKMS or willingness to learn; Lean knowledge.
• Strong analytical ability and cross-functional thinking.
• Excellent communication; a true people manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–15 employees with a hands-on approach.
• Ensure productivity, efficiency, and achievement of cost and service targets.
• Own procedures, work instructions, and related communication within the department.
• Ensure ISO and OHSAS standards are met.
• Support cross-functional process improvements across departments.
• Manage absenteeism and vacation planning; maintain attendance sheets.
• Execute the full performance management cycle for the team.
• Create a positive, inspiring, and safe working environment with focus on sustainable employability.
