Job summary

CPS Case Packing Systems, part of the XANO Group, seeks a hands-on Manager Engineering to lead cross-disciplinary development—from mechanical to software and electrical engineering. You will drive the CTO transition, implement a platform-based way of working, and mentor teams while staying actively involved in design and engineering work to ensure delivery against a clear roadmap.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape processes, ownership, and collaboration across the organization,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead across Systems Design & Testing, Mechanical, Software, and Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on leader who designs and engineers systems alongside the team.
• Must-have platform-based methodologies experience to align developments.
• Experience driving CTO transitions and organizational change.
• Ability to establish ownership and clear leadership within teams.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead the shift from pure engineering to Configure to Order (CTO).
• Embed a standardized platform way of working across developments.
• Organize product teams and workflows while contributing to actual design work.
• Set up and refine departmental processes to accelerate output and automate where possible.
• Define results at project front ends with sharp planning and milestones.
• Support and strengthen the service department with technical expertise.
