Job summary

C Teleport is seeking a hands-on Squad Lead to steer Back Office & Integrations, aligning data flows between client systems and our platform. You will code with the team, set technical direction, and own delivery outcomes while growing engineers and collaborating with the Product Owner in Rotterdam.

You will guide architecture, mentor the team, and drive integration efforts across planning, HR, and finance stacks, using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with deep .NET / C# expertise (active stack).
• 2+ years current, full-scope Engineering Manager experience (hiring, 1:1s, growth).
• Hands-on coding and code reviews; enjoy writing production code.
• Daily use of AI coding agents to direct agentic workflows.
• Solid grasp of architectural patterns: SOLID, TDD, DDD, Event Sourcing, CQRS; relational DBs (PostgreSQL) and messaging (RabbitMQ).
• Experience with microservices and Docker.
• Based in the Netherlands and able to work from the Rotterdam office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Set the squad's technical direction and deliverables; write production code alongside engineers.
• Own the squad's delivery outcomes; ensure reliable, complete solutions in production.
• Lead reviews and contribute hands-on coding; understand the system deeply.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to shape roadmap and incremental MVPs.
• Challenge estimates, surface risks early, safeguard production stability, and manage incidents within SLA.
• Enforce coding standards, reduce technical debt, and evaluate new tech with Architects Group.
• Line-manage engineers; handle hiring, 1:1s, and performance end-to-end, including difficult conversations.
