Job summary

Unicorn Hospitality B.V. seeks a Part-time Hotel Host to be the face of the Amsterdam Sloterdijk property and ensure guests enjoy a seamless stay. You will greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to uphold high standards.

The role is 16 hours per week with Sunday and Monday shifts from 14:00 to 22:00, plus occasional back-up shifts. Fluent English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work part-time (16 hours/week).
• Shift pattern Sundays & Mondays 14:00–22:00; back-up shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a warm first impression.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out.
• Provide guest requests and information; respond to questions.
• Suggest local restaurants, attractions, and transportation options.
• Conduct daily quality inspections of rooms and public areas.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up as needed.
• Handle light administrative tasks and guest communications.
• Keep the property clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.
• Support daily hotel operations and take initiative as needed.
