Job summary

dnata is seeking an experienced GSE Manager at Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) to ensure availability, reliability and cost-effective operation of Ground Support Equipment. You will own supplier relationships, manage contracts, and drive improvements across safety, budgets and performance.

The role requires 8–10 years in GSE fleet management or related fields, plus 4+ years managing outsourced providers. Engineering or technical apprenticeship with relevant GSE experience is required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience in GSE fleet management, ground handling, or supplier/contract management.
• 4+ years managing outsourced providers or complex commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and GSE systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial and operational relationship with outsourced GSE leasing and maintenance providers.
• Manage GSE contracts, monitor SLAs, validate costs and invoices, lead supplier reviews.
• Define and optimize fleet requirements, replacement strategies, and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure fleet availability, reliability and contingency planning for airport operations.
• Drive supplier accountability through performance, cost, safety and utilization analysis.
• Lead compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Manage GSE budgets, total cost of ownership, and cost-optimization programs.
• Deliver efficiency projects and partner with stakeholders to enable new business opportunities.
• Lead, develop and motivate the GSE team with a high-performance culture.
