Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group in Amsterdam is offering a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern position starting August 2026 for 5 to 10 months. You will assist with planning, proposals, and event logistics across multiple properties.

You will learn how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction, update systems, and collaborate with operations while gaining hands-on experience in hospitality sales and events. Full-time internship with 38 hours per week, monthly allowance from €550 and travel coverage.

As a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern, you support the planning and coordination of group bookings, meetings, and events to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences. Your tasks include preparing proposals, updating systems, and assisting with event logistics while learning how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction.

This internship starts in August 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for 5 to 10 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings, group stays, and events
• Support the team with daily administrative tasks and client communication
• Manage event enquiries and assist with proposals and follow-ups
• Liaise with operational departments to ensure successful event execution
• Support the coordination of group bookings and event details across departments
• Maintain accurate records and systems related to bookings and events
• Contribute to a seamless and high-quality client experience
• Support event operations on site when required

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree programme, preferably in hotel, hospitality, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
• Strong administrative and coordination skills
• Available for a full-time internship of up to 38 hours per week for at least 6 months
• You remain enrolled at your university for the full duration of the internship
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

We provide a monthly allowance starting from €550 , exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of travel and job-related expenses.
