Normec Group is seeking a Group FP&A & Integration Director in Amsterdam to lead planning, performance management and integration across the portfolio. You will work closely with the CFO, shaping the operating model and driving value creation through data-driven insights.
The role leads a team spanning FP&A, integration, BI, ERP and finance applications, pushing profitability and efficiency gains while adopting new technologies and AI-enabled solutions as the organization scales.
Founded in 2016, by CEO Joep Bruins, Normec Group is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands and a leading European provider of TICC (Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance) services. Since inception, the company has grown exponentially through a successful "buy and build" strategy, with over 100 acquisitions across Western Europe, achieving revenues in 2026 of around EUR1 billion. This is an extraordinary achievement in just 10 years.
Normec Group currently employs over 7,000 people across six European countries and operates across four key sectors: Food, Life Safety, Sustainability and Healthcare. Each sector is independently managed through dedicated business lines and is outpacing the industry average in growth. The company works with a broad variety of clients: from food manufacturers and retailers to ensure compliance with food safety and quality, to chemical manufacturers to provide critical analysis such as PFAS testing.
Since 2020, Astorg Private Equity has been a major shareholder in Normec Group, actively supporting its ambitious growth plans. In July 2024, Astorg provided an additional capital injection of €1.4 billion to help drive Normec's expansion strategy. This investment was made at a company valuation exceeding €2 billion, reinforcing Normec's strong market position and facilitating continued growth through acquisitions and innovation.
To maintain its rapid growth, Normec Group's strategy centers on both buy and build and organic expansion. The company plans to execute around 10-15 acquisitions annually, strengthening its market leadership. Normec sees significant potential in Europe, aiming for leading positions in each sector and exploring new markets like Italy and Spain. Additionally, expansion into the United States could nearly double its market potential. This strategy, combined with investments in innovative technologies, ensures Normec remains competitive while expanding its presence across Europe and beyond.
To support this strategy and attract high potential employees the company moved the head office of Normec Group to the centre of Amsterdam. The new office is next to the Rijksmuseum, from where the company will further grow, amongst others its Group Finance Team.
Normec is looking for a Group FP&A & Integration Director. This is a highly visible role at the center of the organization, helping to shape and implement the next generation operating model for Finance. Working closely with the CFO, the Group FP&A & Integration Director will play a key role in building the processes, structures and management routines required to support a rapidly growing international group. Beyond strengthening the Finance function itself, the role will act as a key catalyst for value creation, translating data and insights into tangible business actions, supporting strategic decision-making and helping leadership teams unlock performance improvements across the organization.
The Group FP&A & Integration Director will lead a team of highly capable finance and transformation professionals covering FP&A, integration, business intelligence, ERP and finance applications. The role will be instrumental in further professionalizing performance management, strengthening accountability across the business units and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. In addition, the Group FP&A & Integration Director will actively support the Group's value creation agenda by identifying opportunities to enhance profitability, improve operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation and accelerate the realization of synergies across the portfolio. At the same time, the successful candidate will help drive the adoption of new technologies and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, transparency and decision-making throughout the organization.
You are energized by situations where not everything is fully defined. Rather than being hindered by imperfect data, fragmented systems or differing business models, you take a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. You know how to create clarity where information is incomplete and are comfortable balancing long-term improvements with immediate business needs.
The ideal individual brings experience in FP&A, performance management, business partnering and driving change within a complex and evolving organization. Exposure to a buy-and-build, private equity-backed or otherwise rapidly growing environment is considered a strong advantage. Experience may have been gained in industry, consulting or a combination of both, provided there is a clear track record of driving tangible business impact within an operating environment.
