NorthC Datacenters seeks a Group Finance Director to lead a scalable, global Finance function aligned with international growth. You will report to the CFO and coordinate across Group and local teams, standardizing processes and strengthening controls.
The role oversees accounting and reporting across the Group, ensures IFRS compliance and high-quality consolidated reporting, and drives efficiency through standardized systems.
NorthC Datacenters operates at the heart of the digital economy, providing mission-critical infrastructure that enables businesses, governments and institutions to securely store, process and exchange data. As a leading European data center platform, NorthC combines international scale with regional proximity, operating 25 data centers across the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. Headquartered in the Amsterdam region, the company employs approximately 180 people and supports customers through a strong ecosystem of cloud providers, IT partners and connectivity providers.
Since 2021, NorthC has executed an ambitious European growth strategy through organic expansion, new-build developments and targeted acquisitions, including expansion into Germany and Switzerland. Following the acquisition by Antin Infrastructure Partners and APG in 2026, NorthC is entering a new phase of accelerated growth and further professionalization. The organization combines an entrepreneurial culture with four core values: open, local, flexible and entrepreneurial, where ownership, collaboration and personal responsibility are key.
With a proven buy-and-build strategy, continued investments in capacity and a clear ambition to further scale its European platform, NorthC is positioned for further growth. This increasing scale and complexity also create an important role for Finance in strengthening transparency, supporting decision‑making and enabling sustainable long‑term value creation.
The Group Finance Director plays a central role in building a scalable and consistent Finance organization to support NorthC’s continued international growth. Reporting to the CFO, the role operates at the intersection of Group Finance, the Dutch organization and international Finance teams, combining technical Finance leadership with standardization and coordination across countries.
The position holds responsibility for Accounting & Reporting across the Group, ensuring compliance with local regulations, IFRS requirements and high‑quality consolidated management reporting. In addition, the Group Finance Director drives greater efficiency and uniformity across Finance by establishing consistent processes, reporting standards, systems and internal controls.
Acting as a functional leader and sparring partner for local Finance teams, the role supports country Finance leaders while maintaining Group‑wide oversight. The Group Finance Director also leads key financial processes, including periodic closings, annual financial statements, external audits, budgeting, forecasting, financing and refinancing activities, while supporting strategic initiatives such as post‑merger integration.
“Our data centers are the backbone of the digital world. Without our services, critical processes—such as video calls, information exchange in hospitals, and operations of traffic systems and power networks—would halt. Our infrastructure also supports advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and real‑time data analysis, where secure and efficient data processing is crucial.”
The ideal candidate is a senior Finance professional with a strong Accounting & Reporting foundation, international leadership experience and the ability to act as a trusted business partner to internal and external stakeholders. You combine technical expertise with a clear vision for Finance transformation, strong process and project skills, and a continuous drive for improvement and efficiency.
As a people‑oriented leader, you can coach, develop and challenge teams while acting as a connector across the organization. You combine precision with pragmatism, bringing structure to a growing organization while maintaining a hands‑on mindset and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. With your open and direct communication style, you are comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic decision‑making.
