Job summary

Zovea is seeking a Group Business Controller to lead the finance function across its veterinary medicine trading, DTC retail, and staffing labels. You’ll shape the group’s controlling framework, define KPIs, and drive data-driven decision making to support growth and profitability.

You’ll report to the Finance Director and have the autonomy to design the scope of the role, reporting cadence, and strategic emphasis as the group expands. This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge
• Self-directed and proactive, with ownership mindset
• Curious and decisive, pragmatic and action-oriented

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue, margin, and inventory development and translate into insights for monthly reviews
• Forecast and plan through scenario analyses and budgeting processes
• Develop KPIs to drive revenue, margin, and product availability
• Build management reporting and monitor financial and operational metrics for reviews
• Translate financial and operational insights into actionable information for leadership
