Job summary

SHV Holdings N.V. is seeking a Group Accounting & Reporting Specialist in the Netherlands to consolidate the group’s financial information and provide reliable management reporting. You will produce the monthly and quarterly reports, and the annual report, while supporting IFRS changes, ESG reporting, and EU taxonomy.

The role is based in Utrecht with hybrid working. The team handles internal and external reporting, including the annual report, and collaborates with operating companies worldwide.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO education in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience in international or corporate environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation with group reporting; SAP BPC preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; BI tools a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch working language at the office.

Are you someone who thrives on analysing numbers and providing meaningful insights through group consolidation, analysis, and reporting?

SHV Holdings, one of the largest family-owned companies in the Netherlands, is looking to strengthen its Group Accounting & Reporting team. A substantive role in which you contribute to the consolidation, analysis and reporting of group results.

As Group Accounting & Reporting Specialist you are part of the Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting team (CAF). This team is responsible for group consolidation, internal management reports as well as external reporting, including the annual report of SHV Holdings N.V.

You compile and interrogate financial information from the various operating companies worldwide to support the corporate control department and translate it into reliable management information for the Executive Board and other stakeholders. In addition to regular reporting cycles, you will also work on regulatory and system improvement projects.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Consolidation of all financial information of the SHV group worldwide
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports
• Preparing the annual report of SHV Holdings N.V.

Job requirements

• Completed hbo or wo education in finance, accountancy or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in an international or corporate environment
• Knowledge of IFRS and experience with consolidation, group reporting and preferably SAP BPC
• Good working knowledge of Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, eye for detail, communicative and diplomatic in stakeholder management
• Fluent in English; keep in mind that Dutch is the working language at the office

Employment conditions

• Salary: €75.000 to €90.000 based on 40 hours per week (including holiday pay)
• Bonus: up to 15%, based on personal performance
• Holidays: 28
• Hybrid working: Flexible working from home and at the office in Utrecht
