Job summary

Voltiris invites a Business Analyst intern to join the Commercial Operations team in The Hague, supporting Sales Managers with data-driven analyses for multiple markets. You will build pre-feasibility studies, model economics, and prepare quantitative inputs for proposals and presentations.

Ideal candidates excel in Excel modelling, have experience with Python/SQL, and are fluent in English. French/Dutch/German knowledge is a plus in a fast-moving startup setting.

Qualifications

• Recently completed a degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Business, Agriculture, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical mindset with genuine attention to detail.
• Comfortable building and interrogating models in Excel; familiarity with Python, SQL, or data visualisation tools is a plus.
• Fluent with AI tools beyond basic chat use: you build your own prompts and workflows, automate repetitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build pre-feasibility studies for prospective customers: analyse grower energy consumption, tariff structures, greenhouse characteristics, site constraints.
• Model the economic case for each project: energy savings, production impact, payback, ROI.
• Support Sales Managers with quantitative inputs behind proposals, offers, and presentations.
• Collaborate with international Sales team to prepare analyses for meetings across markets/time zones.
• Review and validate customer data, fix inconsistencies and ensure solid inputs.
