Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking a working foreman in greenery maintenance in the Heerlen region. You will supervise a small team, plan daily tasks, and ensure parks and green spaces look their best. You lead by example and handle on-site tasks with brush cutters and hand tools.

You will report to the district manager and coordinate with supervisors to maintain parks, gardens, and sports fields. Experience supervising colleagues and strong communication are essential; VCA certification is

Qualifications

Must have leadership experience supervising colleagues.
Strong communication and reliability.
Experience with green area maintenance preferred.
VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Supervise and guide a team of at least 2 assistant gardeners.
Report to the supervisor and consult with the district manager.
Construct, renovate and maintain parks, green areas, sports fields and company gardens.
Plant trees, shrubs and perennial plants.
Remove weeds and maintain lawned areas and paved surfaces.
Lead by example and work with brushes, trimmers and hand tools.
Be the first point of contact at the work location.
Carry out light administrative tasks for hours registration.
