Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking a working foreman in greenery maintenance in the Heerlen region. You will supervise a small team, plan daily tasks, and ensure parks and green spaces look their best. You lead by example and handle on-site tasks with brush cutters and hand tools.

You will report to the district manager and coordinate with supervisors to maintain parks, gardens, and sports fields. Experience supervising colleagues and strong communication are essential; VCA certification is

Responsibilities

• Carry out light administrative tasks for hours registration.

Job description

Are you socially strong? Do you know how to motivate others to get to work? And does being the first point of contact on location sound great to you? Then start as a working foreman in greenery maintenance in the Heerlen region.

For one of our clients, we are looking for a working foreman in greenery maintenance. In this role, you are responsible for supervising and guiding a great team of at least 2 assistant gardeners. Together with your team, you head out to ensure your maintenance district looks its absolute best. You lead your team and make sure the work is done properly. Together you make sure the grass is truly greener. In addition to carrying out assigned tasks, you also stay alert to spots where maintenance is needed. You raise these observations during consultations with the district manager, so that action can be taken. Once a job is completed, you report to the supervisor. A good communication style is therefore important, both towards your colleagues and towards supervisors.

Besides that, you're always ready to roll up your sleeves yourself and pick up the brush cutter, get going with the hedge trimmer, or work with a hoe. You lead by setting a good example. Seeing immediate results from your work is what makes you feel good.
