GoSpooky is offering a Finance & Administration internship in Amsterdam. You will provide hands-on support to the Finance department, help keep administration organized, and report to the Senior Finance & Administration Officer as part of the Business Support team.

This full-time internship runs 32-40 hours per week for 6 months, with a start date in mid-September 2026, offering a doorway to learn how finance operations work in a project-based agency while assisting colleagues with finance

Qualifications

• Currently studying in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Based in the Netherlands, enrolled in a EU university throughout the internship, and in possession of a Dutch BSN.
• Available 32-40 hours per week, and happy to join us in the Amsterdam office at least 3 days a week.
• Interested in agency life and project-based work.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• A great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Thriving in a lively, social and diverse environment.
• Familiar with Dutch laws and regulations (a plus, but not required).

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices, sales invoices and payments via our bank accounts.
• Help monitor and check general ledger administration and suspense accounts.
• Assist with preparing weekly payments.
• Support periodic closures and reporting.
• Act as a point of contact for simple finance questions from our Spookies, under guidance.

The role

As our Finance & Administration Intern, you'll get hands‑on experience keeping our Finance department well‑organised and efficient. You'll support day‑to‑day administration and work closely with, and report to, our Senior Finance & Administration Officer, as part of the Business Support team. This is a great opportunity to learn how finance operations work inside a project‑based agency, while helping our Spookies with their finance questions along the way.

What we’re looking for

You are:
