What you’ll do

This assignment focuses on Decentralized Identities using Microsoft Entra Verified ID and is an opportunity for a student to gain hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge technology that will revolutionize how we think about identity verification and access management. The internal Avanade internship will focus on building and demonstrating a business case on how organisations can benefit from switching from traditional centralised identities to decentralised identities. You will compare these two approaches and determine the value add to organisations, looking at data security, compliance, governance and IT processes. A graduation internship on Decentralised Identities (DIDs) using Microsoft Entra Verified ID is an amazing opportunity to learn about this new paradigm in digital identity verification. DIDs allow individuals to control their own personal data, without relying on centralised authorities. It’s your task to find out what the added value is and why organisations should make the switch. This internal assignment is to help position Decentralised Identities into our existing offerings and solutions.

You are a 4th year HBO student or WO master’s student and available for a graduation internship from 1 September 2026.
