Us3 Consulting in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Golang Platform Engineer to join the Container Technology & Operations team. You will design, develop, automate and operate Kubernetes-based platform services that enable engineering teams to build, deploy and run secure, scalable applications across complex cloud environments.

• Strong commercial experience with Golang and software engineering.

• Knowledge of observability, reliability, security and operational excellence.

Join our Container Technology & Operations team within Platform Engineering as an experienced Golang Platform Engineer. You’ll help design, develop, automate and operate strategic Kubernetes-based platform services that enable engineering teams to build, deploy and run secure, scalable and resilient applications.

Working in a highly collaborative banking environment, you’ll partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, risk and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud-native platform capabilities, improve developer experience and drive operational excellence.

• Strong commercial experience with Golang and software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Experience designing, operating and automating cloud-native platforms at scale.
• Strong Linux, networking, CI/CD and automation skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering practices.
• Knowledge of observability, reliability, security and operational excellence.
• Experience working across multiple engineering, infrastructure and security teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in environments with enterprise governance, risk and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills

• CKA, CKAD or CKS certification.
• Experience with OpenShift or other enterprise container platforms.

• Experience with Argo CD, Flux or other GitOps tooling.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
