Job summary

NDA is building payment infrastructure for customers worldwide and expanding into physical payments with a new product line. We seek a backend engineer with strong Go experience to shape architecture, scale systems, and own the backend for physical payment terminals from design to production.

You will work on profiling, testing, and observability to improve performance and reliability, and collaborate with a global team in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of backend engineering experience building and operating systems at scale.
• Strong Go production experience and deep understanding of language tooling and runtime.
• Bachelor's degree in CS; master's preferred.
• Solid CS fundamentals and first-principles reasoning.
• Experience with concurrency, distributed systems, and failure handling with real examples.
• Clear, precise English communication; able to explain complex problems clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build backend for physical payment terminals including identity, provisioning, and integration with the platform.
• Shape architecture and engineering practices for the new product line.
• Use profiling, testing, and observability to optimize performance and reliability.
• Build, deploy, and operate solutions from design through production.
