Job summary

Major Dutch Financial Enterprise is seeking a Go Developer to strengthen its internal DSSP team. You will design and build backend microservices in Go, contributing to architecture and CI/CD improvements within a large-scale platform used by thousands of developers.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable services, perform testing, and help shape the future of the platform. Based in the Netherlands with a focus on scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software development with Go (Golang).
• Strong experience building backend API services.
• Familiarity with shell scripting and at least one additional language such as Python or Java.
• A systematic, structured approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable collaborating closely within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend microservices in Go, primarily using gin and related frameworks.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical improvements alongside engineers, product owners and stakeholders.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Identify and resolve performance and reliability issues, backed by solid testing and code review practices.
