Job summary

Avantor in Nijmegen is seeking a Production Support Laboratory Technician to help sustain GMP-regulated pharmaceutical production. You will assist cleanroom activities, prepare disinfectants, support GMP compounding, and provide cross‑department operational support to ensure product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Essential: secondary qualification including Mathematics, English and Science.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: degree in Biology, Chemistry or Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanroom cleaning and disinfection activities in line with GMP requirements.
• Prepare and dispense cleaning and disinfection solutions for controlled production and laboratory areas.
• Provide hands-on support for GMP compounding and manufacturing activities.
• Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with GMP standards.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and workspaces are maintained according to quality and safety procedures.
• Support laboratory and production teams with day-to-day operational activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Report deviations, observations, and potential improvements in a timely manner.
• Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
