Job summary

Sire Search seeks a QC Microbiology Analyst in the Netherlands to strengthen the Quality Control Microbiology team, supporting laboratory testing and environmental monitoring in a GMP setting.

You will perform environmental monitoring, microbiological assays, data entry and trend analysis, and maintain compliant documentation while working closely with other QC staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MLO level 3 or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related discipline.
• 0–4 years of microbiology laboratory experience and/or environmental monitoring.
• Experience with air and surface monitoring.
• Experience with aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality control processes.
• Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and following gowning procedures.
• Physically able to work in cleanroom and supporting areas (lifting ~12 kg).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; basic data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform microbiological assays, including sterility testing and plate reading.
• Perform air and surface monitoring activities.
• Enter, review, and trend microbiological results and laboratory data.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation per GMP.
• Conduct routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, safety procedures and quality standards.
• Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Senior Analysts, Lead Analysts and QC teams.
• Support additional laboratory activities as required.
