Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co. in Leiden seeks a Soft Services Manager to lead the day-to-day facilities services for the Cell Therapy Facility.

You will manage the IFM partner and internal teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery across cleaning, security, reception, waste, pest control, grounds, and related services. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, contract management, and a proactive approach to risk, safety, and continuous improvement within a GMP-regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field
• 5 years’ facilities or soft-services experience in GMP-regulated environment
• At least 3 years’ supervisory/contract-management experience
• Experience in security management and emergency response is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the soft-services portfolio and coordinate with IFM partner to meet scope, quality, safety, compliance, SLA and KPI requirements
• Formulate and manage operating budgets, purchase requirements and contract costs; drive efficiencies and savings
• Oversee GMP and non-GMP cleaning, waste management, pest control, security, reception, grounds, parking and related services
• Provide oversight for site security, access control, CCTV, and incident escalation; ensure safety and compliance across operations
• Collaborate with EHSS, Quality and internal teams to manage permits, life-safety controls and risk management
• Chairs or contributes to governance meetings; drive improvements and best practices within facilities
