Job summary

Villeroy & Boch Group in Roden, Netherlands, is seeking an experienced R&D leader to drive product development and industrialization of wellness products from concept to market launch. You will lead the Wellness R&D Engineering team and Technical Support Centre in the Netherlands, ensuring design, quality, cost, timing, and regulatory compliance across projects.

You will shape the global material and technology roadmap, harmonize development processes and tools across the Netherlands and Egypt,

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in product development with polymer-based materials and manufacturing processes.
Experience leading stage-gate development processes from concept to market launch.
Hands-on experience in product design, material selection, production technologies, testing and quality validation.
Ability to identify market opportunities and translate technical innovations into successful product concepts.
Proficient in engineering tools and systems (SAP, PDM, CAD, CAE) with hands-on problem solving.
Extensive management experience including leading diverse, international teams.
Excellent English and Dutch language skills; German a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of time.
