Job summary

Villeroy & Boch Group is seeking an experienced R&D leader in Roden to drive product development and industrialization for premium wellness products. You will lead R&D Engineering and Technical Support, coordinating design, testing, and launch across global teams while ensuring quality, cost, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry.
• 10+ years in product development, preferably with polymer-based materials and advanced manufacturing.
• Experience leading structured product development processes (stage-gate).
• Hands-on in product design, materials selection, production technologies, testing and quality validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Wellness R&D Engineering and Technical Support Centre in the Netherlands.
• Drive end-to-end product development and industrialization from concept to market launch.
• Ensure design, quality, cost, timing and regulatory compliance across product lifecycle.
• Shape global material and technology roadmap and harmonize engineering processes across regions.
