Villeroy & Boch seeks a Design Engineer to take products from initial concept through to series production. You will blend mechanical design with manufacturing know-how to ensure design for manufacturability and scalable production.
You will create precise 3D models and tooling concepts, drive engineering changes, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Product Management to achieve successful market launches. English and Dutch communication are valued in this role.
Shape & Create - And make it happen! Are you looking for a new challenge where you can fully apply your passion for innovative product development, technical solutions, and sophisticated engineering design? At Villeroy & Boch, we shape the homes of tomorrow – and you can play a key role in this journey. As a Design Engineer (m/w/d), you will develop our products from the initial design concept through to series production. You will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing, quality, and product requirements, taking ownership of your projects through industrialization and successful market launch.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Engineering Design, or a comparable field. Alternatively, you have completed vocational training as a Technical Product Designer and gained relevant professional experience in Design Engineering. You have solid experience in 3D CAD design, ideally with PTC Creo, and enjoy developing technical solutions independently. You think beyond pure design and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and the path from product concept to series production. You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and communicate confidently with different functions and stakeholders. You have good Dutch and English language skills.
At Villeroy & Boch, you will take responsibility for challenging products with an international reach. You can expect short decision-making processes, a modern product development environment, and close collaboration with Design, Production, and Product Management. In addition to flexible working time models and attractive benefits, we offer you the freedom to actively shape technical solutions and turn innovation into successful series products.
