Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Warehouse Business System Specialist to optimise our global warehouse processes. You will own system specs and lead tasks from planning through deployment, while driving continuous improvements across manufacturing and supply.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Logistics or equivalent, 5+ years in pharma warehousing, and strong SAP/WMS experience. Fluent English and ability to influence change in an international matrix are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in pharma warehousing/distribution.
• In-depth SAP and WMS design and implementation experience.
• Process mindset with cross-functional understanding.
• Ability to distill and communicate business requirements.
• Independent, autonomous, able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem solving and drive for excellence.
• Experience influencing change in international matrix environment.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted production and supply, driven by Warehouse business systems.
• Lead business requirement gathering for warehouse system process blueprints and templates.
• Own defined warehouse system validation tasks and assessments.
• Drive warehouse system implementation tasks: test strategy, scripts, validation, migration.
• Develop and document warehouse system training content and documentation.
• Define, document and maintain warehousing system user roles and conduct audits.
• Maintain ties with Sites, Manufacturing, GSC and DTI for best results.
• Identify opportunities and assess impact of technologies and trends.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement to deliver savings and improvements.
• Drive results to finish line and support manufacturing and supply.
• Contribute to network collaboration and knowledge sharing.
