Job summary

Toku Ltd. is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead the Product Engineering organisation across a distributed, multi-region environment. You will guide 3–4 Engineering Managers and 15–20 engineers, shape platform architecture and drive reliability across mission-critical services.

Based in a hybrid model across The Netherlands, Singapore or India, you will mentor leaders, align engineering with product goals and deliver scalable cloud-native systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering with significant senior leadership experience.
• Experience leading distributed engineering teams and developing Engineering Managers.
• Experience with SaaS platforms serving broad customer bases and high transaction volumes.
• Deep technical credibility across distributed systems, microservices and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Engineering organisation end-to-end, including 3–4 Engineering Managers and 15–20 engineers.
• Own technical direction and platform architecture for scalable distributed systems.
• Guide architectural decisions for AWS-based cloud-native environment and deployment practices.
• Own engineering delivery across BAU and customer programmes with clear cadences.
• Drive production reliability, observability and incident management across services.
