Job summary

vidaXL is a global retailer and manufacturer seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to strengthen its International Tax team. You will ensure robust VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions, support audits, and contribute to corporate income tax and transfer pricing matters.

In this inhouse role, you will collaborate with SSCs, local advisors, and cross-functional teams to manage VAT risks, optimize processes, and safeguard the company's tax position while working in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-entity, multi-country environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Tax Accounting, or related discipline.
• Strong VAT/indirect tax knowledge with cross-border flows.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions with SSC and local advisors.
• Monitor VAT treatment for cross border transactions (OSS, IOSS) and review returns.
• Identify VAT risks in logistics, invoicing, returns, and improve controls.
• Support corporate tax compliance including CIT, WHT, TP and Pillar II.
• Provide input for intercompany agreements and transfer pricing policies.
• Act as main contact for tax audits and coordinate responses with external advisors.
• Keep tax positions and accounting clear and audit-ready.
