Job summary

EIC - Experience Internship Canada is seeking an International Treasury Intern for multi-currency management and FX in Amsterdam. You will support cash flow monitoring for its international activities, examine currency needs and conversion costs, and assess the impact of exchange rate changes on forecasts.

The internship is based in Amsterdam, offering an international environment with supervisor guidance and progressive responsibilities as you develop skills in treasury and currency risk

Qualifications

• Pursuing a finance-related degree (treasury, finance, economics or international business).
• Understanding cash flows and currency risk fundamentals is required.
• Proficient with Excel and handling financial data.
• Demonstrates accuracy and follows review/approval procedures.

Responsibilities

• Update cash balances and transactions across currencies.
• Prepare cash forecasts by currency using expected receipts and payments.
• Check transaction consistency and document discrepancies.
• Track exchange rate movements and identify exposures.
• Compare transfer and conversion charges to inform decisions.
• Simulate the impact of exchange rate changes on budgets and cash flows.
• Prepare information and checks for internal approvals.
• Produce summaries and document multi-currency monitoring procedures.
