Job summary

Apollo Solutions seeks a Global FX Trader Manager for its Group Treasury in the Greater Amsterdam area. You will lead FX and interest rate hedging, monitor markets and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Legal and regional teams.

This hybrid, high-impact role combines hands-on trading with risk management, platform development with Treasury Technology, and continuous process improvement in a dynamic international FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or Finance; CFA qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in FX and/or interest rate trading, ideally in banking.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, hedging strategies and macro trends.
• Practical experience with trading platforms such as FXAll, 360T, Bloomberg or Reuters.
• Knowledge of SAP FSCM is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own FX and interest rate hedging activities in support of the global business and risk strategy.
• Monitor markets and translate macro developments into actionable insights.
• Identify and mitigate FX and interest rate risks with tailored hedges.
• Advise Treasury, Finance and stakeholders on markets matters.
• Build and manage relationships with international financial institutions.
• Ensure competitive pricing, high-quality execution and access to market intelligence.
• Partner with regional Treasury teams and central functions globally.
• Contribute to strategic Treasury projects and trading process improvements.
• Co-own maintenance and development of trading platforms with Treasury Tech/IT.
• Support development of global Treasury capabilities through knowledge sharing.

Work arrangement: Hybrid

An international FMCG organization is looking for a Global FX Trader Manager to join its Group Treasury team in the Greater Amsterdam area.

This is a key role within Global Treasury Operations, responsible for centralized foreign exchange and interest rate trading activities, market analysis and financial markets advisory. You will manage significant market exposures, support global risk management objectives and work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Legal, GBS and regional Treasury teams.

The role combines hands‑on trading, strategic risk management, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement within a dynamic, international business environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own FX and interest rate hedging activities in support of the company's global business and risk management strategy.
• Monitor global financial markets and translate macroeconomic developments and market trends into clear, actionable insights.
• Identify, assess and mitigate FX and interest rate risks through tailored hedging solutions.
• Advise Treasury, Finance, business and capital markets stakeholders on financial markets matters.
• Build and manage relationships with leading international financial institutions.
• Ensure competitive pricing, high-quality execution and access to relevant market intelligence.
• Partner with regional Treasury teams and central functions across the global organization.
• Contribute to strategic Treasury projects, technology initiatives and the continuous improvement of trading processes and controls.
• Co-own the maintenance and development of trading platforms in collaboration with Treasury Technology and IT.
• Support the ongoing development of the company's global Treasury capabilities through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

About you

You will have:

• A degree in Economics, Finance or a related discipline; CFA qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in FX and/or interest rate trading, ideally gained within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, hedging strategies and global macroeconomic developments.
• Practical experience with trading platforms such as FXAll, 360T, Bloomberg or Reuters.
• Knowledge of SAP FSCM.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
