Job summary

Cordaid is seeking a Treasury & Accounts Payable Specialist to support accurate financial administration, AP processing, and treasury management across our global operations. The role emphasizes governance, donor compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement and regional teams.

You will help ensure liquidity, reliable payments, and cash flow visibility while maintaining audit trails and integrity across Cordaid’s financial systems.

Qualifications

• Formal education or hands-on experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Foundational understanding of accounts payable processes and treasury/cash administration.
• Knowledge of basic financial bookkeeping, ledger reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with donor guidelines and automated workflow environments (ERPx is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely accounts payable operations and transaction processing, including daily cash flows.
• Maintain compliance with governance, donor regulations, and internal controls.
• Support monthly expenditure tracking, budget monitoring, and donor reporting data.
• Optimize transaction workflows and reconciliations for smooth operations.
• Support audits with meticulous documentation and risk identification.
• Collaborate with internal teams, procurement, and Shared Services to standardize procedures.
• Promote effective use of financial tools and drive simple, efficient workflows.
• Uphold Cordaid integrity standards in daily activities.
