Job summary

Cordaid is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead finance, risk, governance and shared services across its international operations. You will partner with the CEO and senior leadership to drive sustainability, integrity and donor compliance while enabling program delivery in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and beyond.

The role requires strategic finance leadership, strong governance, and a track record of transforming financial functions in a complex nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Seasoned financial and organisational leader with board-level credibility.
• At least 10 years of not-for-profit financial management and donor compliance experience.
• Experience leading transformation and shared services in a complex international NGO.

Responsibilities

• Shape Cordaid's financial strategy for long-term sustainability.
• Advise CEO and board on financial performance, risk and investments.
• Lead finance, treasury, planning, budgeting and reporting across the organisation.
• Strengthen governance and ensure transparency across legal entities.
• Manage Shared Services including finance, legal, procurement and IT.
• Ensure donor compliance and robust project finance controls.
