Job summary

Henkel Ltda in Amsterdam is seeking an intern to assist in Finance Tax Group Strategy / Business Development Netherlands. The role focuses on researching and supporting trade compliance projects within a global FMCG company.

You will learn EU import/export rules, assist with customs compliance Health Check, and provide day-to-day operational support while communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Dutch or German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Tax, Law, Intl Trade, Supply Chain, or Intl Business.
• Excellent communication & analytical abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Research and assist trade compliance projects.
• Understand EU import and export laws and regulations and how they apply to a global manufacturer.
• Support the Health Check process of Henkel Europe for customs compliance.
• Assist trade team with compliance reviews.
• Provide operational and administrative support for day-to-day trade activities.
• Answer inquiries from internal and external stakeholders as you learn about the complexities of global trade.
