Job summary

DEME is seeking a Tender Engineer for Rock Placement and Landfalls to support tenders for cable landfalls and offshore wind projects. You will join an international, multidisciplinary team and help prepare and submit high-quality proposals within tight deadlines.

The role involves analysing tender documents, selecting methods, calculating costs and assessing risks, while coordinating with subcontractors and internal departments. Flexibility for short assignments abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering.
• Experience in the tendering, preparation and follow-up of (marine and/or civil) construction projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinker with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the acquisition process of DEME’s global offshore projects.
• Prepare and submit tender proposals to clients.
• Analyze tender documentation and work on method selection, cost calculations and risk assessments.
• Program the works and draft installation sequence drawings.
• Liaise with subcontractors, partners and supporting departments.
• Report for internal and external approval purposes.
