Single Quantum B.V. is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to install and service SNSPD systems globally, both remotely and on-site at customer locations.

You will engage with scientific and industrial labs, gather feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to improve service quality. The role requires a proactive, technically savvy professional with a physics or engineering background, excellent English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in physics or engineering.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Proven project-management abilities for installations and service assignments.

Responsibilities

• Install and service SNSPD systems, remotely and on-site at customer locations worldwide.
• Engage with scientific and industrial labs, communicating the value of our technology.
• Gather feedback during installations to improve service quality and products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience and drive innovation.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support remotely or in person to ensure smooth operation.
• Manage installations and service assignments with strong project-management discipline.
• Stay updated on advances in quantum technology, fiber optics, and related fields.
• Contribute to a vibrant, collaborative workplace culture at Single Quantum.
