Qualifications

• A relevant Technical Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or Maritime Engineering is required.
• Experience with Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• A proactive approach is essential; we welcome new graduates, experienced writers, and engineers transitioning to documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, verify, and process technical information for manuals, procedures, and test documentation.
• Translate complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software content into clear, structured documentation.
• Plan with project teams to ensure timely delivery that meets requirements.
• Ensure documentation follows Huisman standards, terminology, and layout, and complies with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers during testing to capture inputs, results, and revisions.
• Maintain version control and ensure quality of operations and maintenance manuals and test docs.
