Job summary

BauWatch Group is seeking an ambitious Group Tax & Treasury Manager to professionalize and scale our tax and treasury functions across Europe. You will translate complex tax topics into practical guidance for senior leadership, optimize processes, and implement smarter financing structures to support international expansion.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Tax, Fiscal Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience in tax, treasury or a combination of both.
• Experience within an international organization or tax advisory firm.
• Strong knowledge of European VAT legislation and Corporate Income Tax.
• Experience with Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and corporate treasury processes.
• Affinity with ERP systems, finance systems and process automation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the Group Tax Control Framework.
• Ensure compliance with CIT, VAT and other applicable tax legislation across the Group.
• Coordinate and manage the Group CIT compliance process, including the Dutch fiscal unity.
• Own and professionalize the Group Transfer Pricing policy and ensure OECD/compliance.
• Monitor VAT compliance across Europe and improve VAT-related controls.
• Identify tax risks and implement mitigating controls.
• Coordinate relationships with external tax advisors and tax authorities.
• Manage tax audits and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
• Identify and optimize use of tax incentives and fiscal facilities.
• Support business initiatives, acquisitions and organizational changes from a tax perspective.
• Own the Group cash flow forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Monitor liquidity and provide timely insights into cash requirements.
• Manage day-to-day banking relationships and financing activities.
• Monitor financing agreements and loan covenants.
• Lead Treasury Management System implementations and explore new financing solutions.
