Job summary

Catawiki is seeking a Tax Analyst to join our Finance team and embed tax into business decision-making. You will collaborate with Legal, Product and Commercial teams, manage compliance, risk and reporting, and help scale our tax function across multiple jurisdictions.

You’ll work on tax compliance, risk management and technology-driven process improvements, contributing to our international growth and fast-paced, tech-enabled platform environment. Based in the Netherlands in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification (CTA, CPA, RA or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• 3+ years of tax experience in a Big 4, law firm, multinational or fast-growing international business.
• Experience across corporate income tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), transfer pricing, tax accounting and reporting.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting cycles.
• Maintain tax documentation, controls and governance frameworks.
• Support tax audits, inquiries and regulatory reviews.
• Advise stakeholders on tax implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Support international expansion projects and new business models.
• Drive improvements in tax processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to tax technology, automation and data initiatives.
