Job summary

Catawiki, a fast-growing global marketplace for extraordinary objects, seeks a Tax Analyst to embed tax into business decisions and build a scalable tax function. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product and Commercial teams to ensure compliant, efficient tax processes across multiple jurisdictions.

You’ll help shape tax strategy, manage compliance, and drive data-driven improvements in tax technology while supporting international growth and new business models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax Law, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification (CTA, CPA, RA or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• 3+ years of relevant tax experience in Big 4, law firm, multinational or fast-growing international business.
• Experience across Corporate income tax, Indirect tax, Transfer pricing, Tax accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and European tax frameworks.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting cycles.
• Maintain tax documentation, controls and governance frameworks.
• Support tax audits, inquiries and regulatory reviews.
• Advise stakeholders on tax implications of business decisions.
• Support international expansion projects and new business models.
• Drive tax technology, automation and data initiatives.
• Contribute to tax strategy and cross-functional collaborations.
