Job summary

At Catawiki, we are growing internationally and expanding our tax function to support scalable growth. We’re seeking a Tax Lead who blends deep technical tax expertise with a pragmatic business mindset to embed tax into strategic decisions across Finance, Legal, Product and Commercial teams.

You’ll lead tax compliance, risk management and tax technology initiatives, while partnering with stakeholders to shape the company’s tax strategy and ensure robust governance and reporting in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax Law, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification (CTA, CPA, RA or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• 3+ years of relevant tax experience in Big 4, law firm, multinational or fast-growing international business.
• Experience across corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, tax accounting and reporting.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance processes across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities.
• Prepare and review tax provisions and IFRS reporting.
• Support tax audits, inquiries and controversy processes.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities; design robust tax controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product and Commercial teams.
• Support international expansion projects and new business models.
• Drive automation and data quality improvements in tax processes.
