Job summary

NTS is a leading supplier delivering complex high-tech solutions. The Supplier Quality Engineer will lead supplier selection, qualification, auditing, and monitoring to continuously improve supplier quality in a high-tech environment.

The role offers freedom, variety, and responsibility with involvement in NPI projects and risk planning. You will train teams and suppliers in quality tools and support internal audits.

Qualifications

• HBO degree in a technical or business administration field.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems; AS9100/IATF 16949/ISO 13485 a plus.
• Knowledge of production processes at suppliers and cleanroom requirements.
• Experience with 8D, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and MSA.
• Auditing experience according to ISO 9001; Six Sigma knowledge.
• Basic project management knowledge.
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and decisive, results-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier selection criteria based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Tactical Buyers on supplier selection, qualification and release.
• Audit new and existing suppliers and prepare the annual Supplier Audit Year Plan.
• Validate supplier processes and release them from a quality perspective.
• Maintain High Impact Parts List with the NPI project team.
• Translate quality requirements to suppliers and ensure timely delivery and control/assurance.
• Identify (structural) quality issues and initiate corrective/preventive actions (8D).
• Analyze Supplier Quality KPIs and drive actions.
• Coordinate Supplier Performance Meetings and resolutions of issues.
• Encourage suppliers to propose design improvements and guide data release.
• Train colleagues and suppliers in Quality tools (FMEA, 8D).
• Support internal NTS audit team and prepare Supply Chain NPI Risk plans.
