Job summary

Danone Netherlands seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for Global SNU to lead capital project definition, development, execution and startup across factories. You will collaborate with the SN Liquid and Powder Director to drive tools, methods and digitalization, ensuring best-in-class CAPEX delivery and asset optimization.

This role requires broad experience in automation, packaging, PMO, and large-scale projects (>€25M), with people leadership and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a relevant field.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience.
• At least 5 years in engineering roles in CPG beverage/food manufacturing.
• Experience with large-scale projects (> €25 million).
• Previous people management experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to CAR documents by engineering teams with best practices.
• Challenge solutions to maximise asset use and drive improvements.
• Support project execution, commissioning and startup; upskill factory teams.
• Develop the Strat Plan / Master plan for capacity evolution, LTO, efficiency, and digitalization.
• Coordinate workload, support and debottleneck project prep and execution.
• Ensure on-site teams use standard tools and close gaps with corrective actions.
• Oversee capex reporting and people workload with regular site follow-ups.
• Monitor market intelligence and new technologies in the domain.
