Job summary

ABB E-mobility in Delft seeks a Global Service Solutions Specialist to act as the commercial architect of our service offerings for the charging ecosystem. You will define, develop, and optimize service solutions, ensure competitive proposals and accurate pricing, and equip sales teams with strategic playbooks and win-ready proposals in a fast-evolving EV landscape.

You will collaborate with partners across engineering, operations, and product management to expand services beyond DC chargers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Service Product Management, Technical Sales Support, Service Sales, or a related commercial role.
• Experience in industrial technology, energy, infrastructure, or EV sectors is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build cost models, analyze profitability, forecast revenue, and translate data into actionable business insights.
• Ability to translate complex operational and technical concepts into clear commercial value and offering for customers and sales teams.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Tendering, Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Innovate the portfolio by gathering market intelligence and continuously improving service products and SLAs.
• Expand service offerings beyond DC chargers for BESS, energy management, pantographs, and other supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to define service strategies, operational models, SLAs, and commercial packages for new and evolving charging site technologies.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to keep regional services aligned with customer expectations.
• Provide strategic advice for the non-standard customer request and complex opportunities, enabling executive decision-making.
• Equip sales teams with playbooks, pricing guidance, and winning proposal strategies.
• Participate in customer meetings to explain service concepts and present value-driven solutions.

In This Role, Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

To make the above work, we are seeking a candidate with

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Service Product Management, Technical Sales Support, Service Sales, or a related commercial role. Experience in industrial technology, energy, infrastructure, or EV sectors is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SLAs, service contracts, and the ability to interpret technical and contractual requirements.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build cost models, analyze profitability, forecast revenue, and translate data into actionable business insights.
• Ability and willingness to understand complex technology ecosystems and develop service solutions across multiple asset types.
• Ability to translate complex operational and technical concepts into clear commercial value and offering for customers and sales teams.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Tendering, Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and external partners.
• A proactive approach with a focus on creating customer value, improving business performance, and delivering results in a fast-moving market
