Job summary

ING in Amsterdam seeks a Global SEPA & SEPA Direct Debits Architect to lead the architecture for a globally scalable, high-performing payments platform. You will design future-ready SEPA solutions, engage with development teams, create reference architectures, and drive architecture roadmaps while collaborating across countries.

You will stay up-to-date with Cloud Native Apps and Well Architected Framework trends and translate policies into scalable solutions, working within the Payment &

Qualifications

• Experience in designing payments platforms, especially SEPA payments architecture.
• Ability to translate policy and requirements into scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern technology stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design future-ready SEPA & SEPA Direct Debits Payments platform.
• Maintain and enhance the designs of existing technology stack.
• Engage with development teams and review/approve technical designs.
• Create reference architectures.
• Deliver architecture roadmaps
• Organise and support workshops and presentations for decision making
• Translate policy and requirements into solutions
• Contribute to the creation of global standards
• Manage stakeholders across multiple departments in various countries
• Become the go-to person for SEPA & SEPA Direct Debits Payments architecture
• Stay up-to-date with Cloud Native Apps and Well Architected Framework trends
• Work independently with strong collaboration across teams
