Job summary

Neste, a global leader in renewable fuels, seeks a Senior Manager, Materials to lead the materials discipline within the Chief Engineering Competence Center. The role oversees technical content, specifications, and collaborations across asset management, operations, and design engineers at Neste's refinining sites.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industrial experience in materials engineering or management.
• Solid knowhow on material solutions and requirements in a refinery environment.
• Project experience and knowledge of requirements in different project phases in an investment project.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the leading expert within the materials discipline, defining requirements including total cost of ownership.
• Ensure correct technical content in frame agreements and collaborate with procurement on vendor selection.
• Own the technical specifications for materials engineering, setting safety, availability, maintainability and operations requirements with asset management, operations and design engineers.
• Provide primary expertise for material solutions to refineries, cooperating with site personnel and fellow specialists across units.
• Develop and own discipline technology best practices and benchmark against industry standards.
