Job summary

ITEC is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission and support advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites worldwide, with main activity across Europe. Based at our Nijmegen HQ, you will provide remote technical support and hands-on service, train customers and collaborate with engineering teams to improve our solutions.

You will travel frequently, work in an international team and bring strong problem-solving, communication and customer-focused mindset to ensure optimal machine

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a high-tech environment.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Experience with high-precision assembly equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international team.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently, nationally and internationally, with occasional outside-hours support.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up and support the acceptance of new machines and modules at customer sites.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support, troubleshoot complex issues after machine release and support suppliers during serial production.
• Support product development by providing practical input to the product team based on customer feedback.
• Validate products against design specifications, customer requirements and reliability standards.
• Coordinate beta testing at customer sites and ensure appropriate technical follow-up.
• Identify and implement improvements to machine quality, speed, cost and overall performance.
• Provide customer training, both at ITEC and on-site.
• Facilitate regular technical meetings with customers, channel customer feedback through JIRA CASE/CRS and follow up on technical issues through closure.
