Job summary

Syntegon Packaging Solutions B. V. in Weert is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Market Segments to drive the commercial development and growth of vertical form-fill-seal market segments.

You will connect segment expertise with regional sales organizations and Key Account Management, acting as a global ambassador for the VFFS portfolio with multiple cross-regional activities and travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with commercial training, or a commercial degree with demonstrable engineering affinity.

Responsibilities

Drive segment development in strategic regions with Regional Sales Organisation and agents, focusing on customer engagement and opportunity creation.
Build and maintain a network within assigned segments including customers and industry partners.
Act as global spokesperson and commercial contact for assigned market segments within the VFFS organisation.
Coordinate global Key Account activities and align with regional sales teams and the VFFS organisation.
Identify and develop new customers, applications and market segments with attractive potential.
Support regional sales teams with segment-specific training, visits and market insights.
Develop understanding of customer needs, market developments and competitor activities and share insights.
Support introduction and commercialization of new features within market segments.
Represent Syntegon and the VFFS portfolio at meetings, exhibitions and events.
