Job summary

Röhlig Netherlands in Rotterdam is seeking a Sea Freight Export Forwarder to coordinate export shipments from start to finish. You will monitor shipments, communicate with customers by phone and email, and handle costs in CargoWise One.

The role requires at least two years of sea freight experience, proficiency in Dutch and English, and knowledge of export documentation and regulations. We offer hybrid work, a pension scheme, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in sea freight forwarding, preferably in export.
• Experience managing files from start to finish, including invoicing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, flexible and service-oriented approach.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of sea freight regulations and logistics legislation.
• Experience with CargoWise One is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administratively process sea freight export shipments from start to finish.
• Monitor shipments closely and keep customers informed by telephone and email.
• Request, check, book and invoice costs in CargoWise One.
• Request and process transport and customs documentation.
• Arrange transport and align delivery instructions and special requirements.
• Coordinate with agents, suppliers and internal departments.
